Your account
Delete your PressHat account
Deletion is permanent and starts as soon as you confirm. You'll be signed out of PressHat on every device. You can also do this in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account.
What's deleted
- Your account, profile and PressHat handle, and every sign-in method linked to it.
- The photos and videos you uploaded, including their location and capture details.
- Your likes, votes, follows, blocks, alert zones, badges and registered devices.
What stays
- Posts and comments you published stay, without your name or handle, so conversations other people took part in still make sense. The photos and videos in them are deleted.
- Limited records we're required to keep, such as the record of this deletion and evidence for safety, legal or fraud matters.
- Backup copies, until they're cleared — within 90 days.
- Copies other people already downloaded or reposted, which we can't recall.
